Michael Zottarelli is a dynamic leader and passionate advocate for meaningful work. Michael’s journey has been anything but ordinary. Originally from the United States, he spent his formative years in Indonesia before returning to the U.S. at the age of 12. At 18, he moved to Canada for his undergraduate studies, landing in Halifax, where he fell in love with both the community and his college sweetheart, Ashley.
After dedicating 15 years to his life as a pastor focused on community care, Michael faced a pivotal moment during the COVID-19 pandemic, seeking a new path that would allow him to continue working closely with people in a mission-driven organization. He started as the Director of Support Services for Salon Resource Group, one of the largest employers in Atlantic Canada’s beauty industry. Michael came to Valent Legal looking for ways to return to his passion of helping those who are in most need of help, in a moment of crisis within their own lives.
When Michael’s not at the office he enjoys reading, playing guitar, and spending quality time with his wife, their two young boys, and their new puppy, Mickey.
