What Should I Do if I Have Been Involved in an ATV Accident?

Transcript:

If you’ve been involved in an ATV accident, it’s really the same process you should follow as if you’ve been involved in an ordinary car accident. People are theoretically required to carry insurance on all-terrain vehicles. There are certain exceptions to this, but all the same, you should notify the police to give them all the pertinent information — the where, the when, the who, the insurance particulars. Any witnesses, whatever details might be necessary.

Contacting your own insurance company, if there is your own insurance company in the mix as a result of this, you should do that straight away. A claim would be made against the at-fault driver’s insurance company, whether it is the ATV or a car. Either way, the claim process is the same.
