Lauren joined Valent Legal as an articling clerk in April 2021. Originally from British Columbia, Lauren came to Nova Scotia to complete her undergraduate degree at St. Francis Xavier University, and has since found herself unable to leave. Lauren graduated from Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law in 2020. While at Dalhousie, Lauren was involved with the Dalhousie Pro Bono program and spent a semester working at the Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic. Lauren currently sits on the Board of Directors for reachAbility Association, a nonprofit providing accessible programming for those facing barriers to inclusion. She is also a member of the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association (APTLA).
Lauren spent much of her childhood travelling and living internationally with her family, and later completed academic exchanges to Japan and Israel. Lauren enjoys being outside and likes to spend her summers on the beach and her winters on the ski hill.
